After 10 years of being together, lovebirds Kathleen and Kieran finally said "I do" in the luxurious sun-drenched paradise of Nobu Los Cabos. This resort sits on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula and offers mesmerizing views of sparkling sapphire waters, stretching as far as the eye can see.
Their story, like their wedding itself, was a symphony of unconventional elegance, a mosaic of boho spirit and eclectic touches, all held together by the vibrant thread of a decade-long love song.

Beachside Wedding Dreams
Kathleen, with her iconic pink hair which she had specifically colored for the wedding, had always dreamt of exchanging vows at her grandparents' beach house in Orange County. After their passing, and the sale of their beloved house, the dream needed a new canvas - enter Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Neither Kathleen nor Kieran had ever set foot in the country, but Cabo's attractive proximity to their San Francisco home and its intimate, celebratory vibe made it the perfect match for their intimate gathering.
Their wedding unfolded as a "bohemian meets boho glam" dream. Think flowing white linens, rustic decor, and wildflowers. And then there was Kathleen, a radiant vision in a custom ivory gown that danced with the wind, her pink hair echoing the vibrant sunset against the cerulean canvas.
But this wasn't just any Cabo beach wedding. This was a celebration of resilience, and love that had endured a pandemic's delay and emerged stronger, and sweeter. Due to COVID-19, their original plan to get married in Cabo was postponed for a year. Instead of being disappointed, they chose to legally marry in the States while waiting for the perfect moment to celebrate in Cabo. However, they knew they wanted something more, and their Cabo wedding was a symbolic ceremony that captured the essence of their love and commitment in front of their closest family and friends.
After the ceremony, the party shifted to the resort’s Umi Terrace where they celebrated by eating delicious food as they danced the night away. The party was the culmination of 10 years of being together and a year of waiting to celebrate with their family and friends. It was a wedding and weekend to remember for everybody.

It was such a pleasure to be able to be Kathleen and Kieran’s local wedding planner in Cabo San Lucas. Their fun, artistic style and positive attitude made the entire experience a joy to coordinate. We know that their Cabo wedding was just a chapter, albeit a magnificent one, in their grand love story.
