For eleven years, Maddy and Nick's love story has unfolded like an inspiring novel that started with young love, adventure, unwavering support, and a deep connection to family and friends.
Their journey, however, wasn't always a walk on the beach – eight of those years were spent navigating the challenges of a long-distance relationship. But distance only strengthened their bond as they learned to communicate, cherish every moment together, and build a foundation of trust and respect that would become the cornerstone of their relationship.

Nature-Inspired Nuptials
The couple has a shared love for the outdoors. They like to hike, paddle board, and love to spend time outdoors. They are constantly on adventures together, whether it is spent exploring new trails, traveling to new places or just visiting family and friends. So it’s not surprising that they chose to tie the knot at Acre Baja wedding venue, a unique nature-inspired property in Cabo, Mexico.
Located in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo, the resort features elegant treehouse accommodations, lush natural areas and gardens, an organic farm, and a beautiful lawn overlooking the waters.
Maddy and Nick’s design aesthetic complemented the venue perfectly with classic neutrals that brought elegance to the site while also allowing the natural plants and flowers to shine. It was the perfect blend of organic, chic and modern styles.

Marriage, Music & Mexican Fare
Family and friends play a big role in the couple’s life and they wanted their wedding to be one big happy celebration with their nearest and dearest. For the wedding ceremony and reception, they opted for a romantic, contemporary, and elegant theme. The modern chic theme they requested blended very well with Acre Baja’s industrial look.
Maddy and Nick hosted their reception at Acre’s mango orchard where they celebrated with their favorite food and Mexican fare. They also hired the Kilometro band, a Cabo favorite known for keeping the dance floor moving, filling the night with vibrant energy.
The couple chose all-white flowers with black contrasts for the chairs, and flatware, and dark gray accents for the charger plates and votives. The bars were also black and decorated with white flowers, bar signs, and lanterns.
The wedding was a complete success, thanks in large part to the amazing team of wedding professionals that collaborated with Vivid Occasions to create a magical evening. Our vendors always go above and beyond to do their job with excellence in order to make the day unforgettable for the couple and we are grateful for their partnership.
