Hannah and Corbin’s Sweet and Simple Cabo Beach Wedding

American bride Hannah and her groom Corbin could not wait to get married. The couple met in church and wanted a faith and family centered ceremony on the beach that was simple, understated and romantic.

The couple chose a beachfront location in Cabo San Lucas to showcase their love for tropical settings and travel.

Plan B and Staying Positive

We all know life isn’t always predictable or certain. Some say that how we handle the challenges in life is what builds our character and makes us strong. If that’s true, then there is no question in our minds that Hannah and Corbin have a rock solid foundation in their mindset, faith and relationship as a couple. During the planning of their wedding, they encountered setbacks that tested their patience and earned our admiration for how they graciously adjusted with circumstances out of their control.

In an unfortunate twist of events, the original Cabo wedding venue that Hannah and Corbin booked shut down unexpectedly two weeks before their Cabo site inspection

Moving swiftly, our team at Vivid Occasions executed a Plan B and were able to move the venue to Casa Blue Sea for a romantic beachside ceremony followed by a reception at the terrace.

The bride and groom were understandably upset over the closure of the original venue but remained positive towards the new development. They were supportive throughout the process and their positivity helped make the wedding a huge success. It was such a pleasure to have them as clients; their flexibility allowed us to swoop in and problem solve.

Simple and Understated Style

The theme for the whole wedding weekend was simple and understated. The couple wanted the decors to be neutral with a subtle pop of color. We anchored the design with black accents which contrasted very beautifully against the white decor, white sand and blue ocean. Romantic florals and textures softened the mood and enhanced the overall beachy feel of the atmosphere.

Faith and Family First

This lovely seaside Cabo wedding was all about faith, family and their love for traveling to tropical destinations. Hannah and Corbin wanted to spend this intimate day with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their union together under God. The venue allowed the two families not only to witness this important event but also to get to know each other, relax and have some fun.

Teamwork All Around

The event was made successful by a number of local vendors. The catering was served by Laurus who created a menu that was similar to what was originally served at the resort. Photography was by Ximena Zermeno and all design and planning was by Vivid Occasions Cabo wedding planning team.
