White Bridesmaids Dresses — Vivid Occasions

Hi loves! Today we’re talking about a trend, or new wave of style if you will, that came as a shock to us. That being said, we’re kind of obsessed!

Lately we’ve been seeing a lot of bridesmaids wearing white alongside the bride. It’s a little odd since traditionally, you don’t wear white to a wedding unless you’re the bride, period, no exceptions. However, now brides are opting for their whole girl squad to be in white too, and it looks marvelous in photos!

Below are a few examples of this gorgeous trend that we hope sticks around for awhile.

Also, fun fact, the only reason for the ‘no white unless you’re the bride,’ rule is because 80% of brides wear white at their wedding and will be standing out. If you wear white, it’s thought that you would be trying to upstage or outshine the bride, which is obviously a huge no no.

Our rule of thumb is do not wear white unless the bride directs you too!
